Despite of the Tsunami scare, nuclear meltdown and quake alerts, my team still decided to unwind and spend a day at Golden Bay Resort last March 16, 2011.
Most likely, it was everybody's first time to hear about this resort and also the first instance to enjoy the place. Everyone were very excited and we had fun during our stay. In fact, the team ignored the rain and the delay in crossing Samal Island.
We arrived around 8AM on the site. We really appreciate the accommodation and for the free van service from the management of the resort.Considering that this is a one-year old resort, and the resort has still a lot of amenities and service which they can offer in the offer. 
They have comfortable air-conditioned rooms, spacious cottages, a small bar and resto, function hall, playground and an open KTV area. What i like most is the kiosk-port. They also own a boat and guest may avail it if they would like to have an island tour. They place is also worth it.
Moreover, aside from the white-sand beach, the resort is very nice, and relaxing, and on top of it..it is very clean and cozy. It is beautiful.
They were located at Brgy. Limao in the Garden Island City of Samal. From Davao City, it will take a 30-minutes ride to the ferry station. And then another 20-minutes to cross the Davao Gulf and it will take another 30 minutes to main cite.
